Day 1 - Calgary - Revelstoke
Went to Patterson Hill. Walked around downtown and the path along the Bow river for a bit. Walked/ran for 90 minutes in Nose Hill Park in the rain. Drove to Revelstoke.
Day 2 - Revelstoke - Burnaby
Woke up super early because my body was still on Eastern time. Walked around Revelstoke and along the Columbia River for 2 hours. Drove to Burnaby. Walked around Burnaby Mountain Park/Simon Fraser University for a bit. Watched Harry Jerome track meet.
Day 3 - Burnaby to Kelowna
Drove to West Kelowna. Walked in Glen Canyon Regional Park then along the shore of Okanagan Lake. Drove across the bridge to Kelowna. Walked up Knox Mountain.
Day 4 - Kelowna to Chilliwack
6ish hours of walking up Dilworth Mountain, down to Mission Creek then up to Knox Mountain Park. Drove to Chilliwack.
Day 5 - Vancouver
Short morning hike in Yarrow/Cultus Lake area. Went to Vancouver Canadians game. Bussed to Pacific Spirit Regional Park and walked through there to Acadia Beach. Walked around UBC for a bit.
Day 6 - Vancouver - Victoria
Rented a bike and biked around Stanley Park then to Cypress Lookout. Was rainy/foggy so there was no view so I didn’t go to the top. Then biked along Marine Drive. Came back through Stanley Park. Took ferry to Victoria.
Day 7 - Victoria
Hike in Gowlland Tod Provincial Park. Up Holmes Peak and Jocelyn Hill. Evening walk through Beacon Hill Park down to the ocean then along the ocean to Clover Point Park.
Day 8 - Victoria
Hike along the ocean in East Sooke Regional Park past Beechey Heed and Cabin Point. Less climbing and more technical than yesterday. Took Interior Trail back.
Day 9 - Victoria
Walked to the ocean and along Dallas St to Fisherman’s Wharf. Hiked up Mt Douglas.
Day 10 - Victoria
Rented a bike and rode the Lochside Trail to Sidney with a minor detour to Island View Regional Park, got some food there and rode back. Then did a loop along the ocean.
Day 11 - Victoria - Vancouver Area
Ferry to Vancouver. Lunch by the Fraser River in Maple Ridge. Walked around Lower Sumas Mountain in Abbotsford.
Day 12 - Vancouver Area
Walked around in Lighthouse Park. Walked around in Boundary Bay Regional Park and got a burger and ate it on the beach there. Watched track nationals in Langley.
Day 13 - Vancouver Area - Golden
Drove to Golden. Stopped in Revelstoke to eat. Walked around Golden for a few hours to see the sunset.
Day 14 - Golden - Calgary
Walked around Golden in the morning. Drove to Calgary. Walked around the Glenmore Reservoir
